ENROLLING for SUMMER 2022 in APRIL!

ARE YOU INTERESTED?

How our summer program works

1.

Good Morning! Parent drop offs at the center and our pick ups start at 8am.

2.

First we have breakfast, and then morning meeting by 10am. We get our agenda for the day!

3.

We're either doing a group or individual activity, or off-site. We eat lunch together by 1pm.

4.

After free time and snack, pick ups and drop offs begin at 3pm.

SUMMER 2021
RECAP

Even though we were in the midst of a pandemic, our youth needed an outlet after being in the house for months. We committed to a hybrid summer program to give them the best, most safe experience they could have!

We met in person Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's from 9am-3pm.

On Thursday's they logged into virtual tutoring with Certified Scholars.

Our youth were given a safe space to engage in social-emotional

groups and activities, explore entrepreneurship, learn new life skills, and build

confidence by trying new things all summer.

Monday's

We visited different parks all over the Greater Richmond area, but Maymont Park was one of our favorites!

Wednesday's

The Rock Project introduced our boys to a different Black male entrepreneur every week, and then had open gym at Shining Star Sports Academy.

Georgia's Hair Salon hosted our girls every week for their summer braiding camp where they learned different techniques and styles.

FUN Friday's

Every Friday is FUN at S2S... but the summer is REALLY fun!

We take trips to places like Go Ape! in Williamsburg, VA and the Virginia Safari Park in Natural Bridge, VA.

We experience new things like rolling ice cream, painting, cooking, and spoken word.... we even decorated cake pops!
